“Tree Spirit No. 2”
11-in X 14-in
acrylic on fine-art paper
April 2026
Available as a high quality fine-art print, Tree Spirit No. 2 depicts a striking, stylized tree rising against an energetic expanse of layered cerulean and sky blue. The slender, warm-toned trunk branches out into lush tiers of foliage, meticulously composed of circular and organic shapes outlined in bold black. Dappled emerald, jade, and golden accents create the feeling of sunlight filtering through leaves, lending a stained-glass vibrancy to the canopy. Expressive and modern, this piece infuses a grounded natural subject with rhythmic color and charm.
Emphasizing vertical presence and organic rhythm, this original mixed media painting presents a stylized evergreen rising against a vivid atmospheric sky. The canopy unfolds in tiered clusters of jade, emerald, and clover greens, populated with overlapping circular forms, graphic leaf contours, and touches of warm golden light.
The slender, upright trunk is rendered in warm copper and russet tones, marked with rhythmic black striations that give the bark texture and graphic impact. Set against a multi-tonal cerulean blue field marked with transparent washes and subtle structural cross-hatchings, the composition blends folk-art authenticity with modern illustrative design. It makes a clean, uplifting statement piece for modern living areas, entryways, creative studios, and nature-inspired spaces.
