“Thoughtform No. 1”

This acrylic painting is from my ongoing and ever-expanding series of non-representational abstract acrylic paintings called the “Thoughtforms”. I organize these pieces together and call them Thoughtforms because the inspiration on which they are based comes unexpectedly as a flash of inspiration and thought (almost a distraction) while I’m working on another painting, appearing in my imagination as geometric form. This is one of those forms - distractions they may be - but I’m always listening for the muses’ song and when I hear it, I’ve learned not to ignore it, rather to follow the inspiration into the Vortex.

This is the 1st acrylic painting in my “Thoughtform” series. This evocative geometric abstract brims with high-frequency vibrations, energetic luminosity, and dynamic movement.
