“The Pleiadian Owl”
14-in X 14-in X 1-in
acrylic on stretched canvas
Sept 2025
The Pleiadean Owl is an original 14" x 14" acrylic painting on stretched canvas that bridges visionary wildlife art with celestial mysticism. Perched intently against a textured, glowing full moon, the owl serves as a cosmic sentinel woven from sacred patterns, vivid jewel tones, and intricate line work.
The composition balances deep indigo and cerulean blues with rich golden tones. Detailed mosaic-like plumage, pointillist dots, and fine feather patterns draw the eye into the owl’s piercing gaze, while dynamic energy rings and spiral motifs pulse through the surrounding night sky. The surface of the moon is rendered with palpable tactile texture, creating striking dimensional contrast with the sharp, rhythmic brushwork below.
