“The Mothership Connection”
24-in X 30-in X 1-in
acrylic on stretched canvas
Sept. 2025
Greeting Earthlings... Welcome to The Mothership Connection. This painting depicts a completely fictional subject often referred to as a "UFO" or "UAP."
Regardless of the name given to these figments of imagination and/or the number of reported sightings of similar-type objects, they are not real! If you see something like this, you should immediately close your eyes tightly, turn around, say to yourself, "I did not see what I just saw," then run away... and don't tell anybody...
The Mothership Connection is an original 24" x 30" acrylic painting on stretched canvas that blends retro-futuristic sci-fi folklore with vibrant, visionary pop surrealism. Dominating the upper realm of the composition against a split peach and pale-gold sky, an immense alien mothership hovers in majesty. The vessel is rendered with intricate architectural linework, textured silver-metallic hull plating, tiered arched viewing ports, multi-colored rim lights, and three sparkling, glitter-infused turquoise domes.
Descending from the mothership’s shimmering undercarriage is a torrent of dynamic energy: a cascade of concentric vortex spirals, tactile bubbles, and sacred geometric nodes. Hypnotic swirls of candy red, electric turquoise, lemon yellow, cobalt, and lime green overlap across the plane, interwoven with faceted star mandalas and dimensional orbs. Rich in raised impasto texture and shimmering accents, this statement piece radiates high-frequency cosmic joy, making it an unforgettable focal point for modern art collectors, sci-fi enthusiasts, and visionary art spaces.
