Something's Coming
“Somethings Coming”
18-in X 24-in X 2-in
acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas
Feb. 2026
Greetings from the Vortex friends! This original acrylic painting is from my “Me & Baleaux” series exploring the unusual experiences of me and my dog(s) (sometimes Buddy & Hazel (a.k.a.. Stinky) come along, but Baleaux never leaves my side…. This particular piece titled, “Something’s Coming” depicts me & Baleaux out on a walk in the sunshine.
Something's Coming is an original 18" x 24" acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas that blends mountain landscapes with sacred geometry, cosmic mystery, and folk-inspired storytelling. In the foreground, the silhouetted figure of a person and their companion dog stand along a glittering, winding river, with one hand raised in greeting toward the sky.
Towering behind them are stylized, faceted mountain peaks capped with shimmering, snow-textured surfaces. The landscape is rendered through a mosaic of green and deep blue geometric blocks, complemented by circular patterned trees and drifting, spiral-embossed celestial orbs. Dominating the upper atmosphere is an intricate, radiant solar mandala filled with concentric petal geometry and a sparkling emerald center, casting a vibrant, expectant energy across the valley.
