“I Don’t Think They Can See Us”
24-in X 24-in X 2-in
acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas

Greetings from the Vortex friends! This original acrylic painting is from my “Me & Baleaux” series exploring the unusual experiences of me and my dog(s) (sometimes Buddy & Hazel (a.k.a.. Stinky) come along, but Baleaux never leaves my side…. This particular piece titled, “I Don’t Think They Can See Us” depicts me & Baleaux (and the other, unnamed person who witnessed this event) encountering more of these unusual weather phenomenon. I think this was swamp gas or something…
I Don't Think They Can See Us is an original 24" x 24" acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas that captures the wonder, mystery, and gentle humor of an otherworldly sky encounter. Standing along a stylized, green geometric ground plane, three textured silhouettes look upward: a figure in the foreground holds a hand to their ear or forehead in contemplation, while a second figure waves joyfully with both arms raised alongside their alert companion dog.
Hovering in the upper right is a retro-futuristic flying saucer detailed with glowing red propulsion thrusters, panoramic blue cockpit windows, and metallic hull plates. In the opposite corner, a radiant golden solar mandala glows with concentric star geometry and a textured lime-green center. The sky behind them is an intricate, multi-layered tapestry of celestial orbs, lattice globes, and fine-line sacred geometry rendered in electric cyan, cerulean, and cobalt tones. Filled with pointillist sparkle and dimensional linework, this painting serves as an imaginative, narrative-rich centerpiece for modern art collections and sci-fi art enthusiasts alike.
