“Blue Luv Shrubz”
12-in X 16-in
acrylic on canvas panel
April 2025
Radiating tranquility and rhythmic natural geometry, this original acrylic and mixed-media painting captures a lush, visionary interpretation of the Tree of Life. The composition is grounded by warm, amber-toned branches that twist and curl into organic spirals, decorated with dotted bead-like patterns and lined woodgrain texture.
Spreading across the entire canvas is an immersive canopy built from hundreds of heart-shaped, spade-form leaves rendered in a mosaic of cerulean, cyan, turquoise, royal cobalt, and soft lilac. Varying in scale from broad focal foliage to tiny, stippled background leaves, each leaf features stylized vein structures and crisp black contour boundaries. The high contrast between the cool aquatic blue canopy and the warm, grounded golden boughs creates an enchanting, meditative atmosphere filled with light and depth.
