“Alone In the Woods”
12-in X 36-in X 2-in
acrylic on stretched canvas

Greetings from the Vortex friends! This original acrylic painting is from my “Me & Baleaux” series exploring the unusual experiences of me and my dog(s) (sometimes Buddy & Hazel (a.k.a.. Stinky) come along, but Baleaux never leaves my side…. This particular piece titled, “Alone In the Woods” depicts me, Baleaux & Stinky encountering another one of those orbs in the woods behind my house.
Step into a mystical twilight journey where human solitude meets cosmic guidance. Alone In the Woods is an original 12" x 36" vertical acrylic painting crafted on heavy-duty, gallery-wrapped canvas.
At the base of the scene stands the silhouette of a lone traveler with a walking staff, textured in dense cosmic stippling, flanked by two faithful canine companions amid stylized botanical ground cover. Slender, reaching tree trunks stretch upward through a vibrant canopy pulsing with luminous bokeh bubbles, pointillist orbs, and vivid bursts of neon turquoise, chartreuse, warm orange, and magenta.
Crowning the forest canopy in the cerulean sky is an intricate celestial star—constructed in the style of stained-glass sacred geometry. The multifaceted star holds radiant, golden-amber disks glowing with granular, textured impasto, serving as a beacon of warmth and higher consciousness over the deep woods.
Hand-painted with sharp black contouring, layered dot-work, and rich visual contrast, this vertical statement piece brings visionary depth, storytelling, and contemplative energy to any modern home, studio, or private art collection.
