“Abandoningh Limitations”

acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas

What times we find ourselves in. "The world is on fire" is a sentiment I've recently encountered with regularity. Old systems are showing cracks. Secrets are being revealed, and curtains peeled back for all the world to see. Emperors, tyrants, and wannabe dictators march the world to war wearing no clothes. And the rich get richer...
Meanwhile, impossible things are appearing in our skies, and change hangs in the air. Corruption is being exposed, and Truth is clawing its way to the surface. A wave of positive energy has been building in the shadows. Hearts & minds are coming together with the understanding that it's all the same thing. We're becoming aware of what it means to live with the earth instead of ruthlessly plundering her for our convenience. Collectively felt, consistently witnessed, rarely and barely understood. What is happening, I could not say, but I feel hope. There is a path to a bright future if only we are strong enough to surrender...
This acrylic painting, "Abandoning Limitations," is my expression of the hope and connection I feel toward this collective sense of change that is consistently reflected back to me throughout my recent daily adventures.
Abandoning Limitations is an original 24" x 24" acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas that captures the spirit of transcendence, cosmic connection, and adventurous wonder. Perched high atop a rugged, textured cliff face dotted with blooming wild flora, a silhouetted explorer—wearing a jacket inscribed with "LOVE"—raises an arm toward the heavens alongside their faithful companion dog.
Above the precipice, the radiant turquoise sky comes alive with an energetic shower of multicolored floating orbs and two monumental celestial structures: a textured golden solar mandala with concentric petal rosettes and a faceted, hyper-geometric star portal ablaze in magenta, violet, and coral. In the valley below, geometric rolling hills, a winding sapphire stream, and a footbridge anchor the cosmic spectacle in earthly beauty. With finished edges and rich surface textures, this visionary piece makes an inspirational addition to your space.
