“62 Orders of Magnitude”
14-in X 14-in X 2-in
Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
January 2026
I’m not a scientist and I don’t play one on tv, but it’s my understanding that 62 orders of magnitude is the difference in scale between an object at the Quantum/”Plank” scale and the entire universe. Basically, what that means is that if you took the smallest thing we can interact with in any way, and you 10x its size 62 times, that thing would be the size of the universe. Whether or not my number is accurate, the principle remains the same. Everything that we can perceive and interact with- from subatomic particles to the entire universe as a whole - exists within a small slice of possible sizes. What exists outside those 62 Orders of Magnitude? At scales larger and smaller than we can even conceive of… Discuss amongst yourselves….
Bring dynamic modern energy into your space with this original geometric abstract painting. Characterized by intricate overlapping circles, sharp linear structures, and circuit-like dot motifs, the composition evokes a balance between cosmic mandalas and futuristic architectural schematics.
Dominated by a rich palette of cobalt blue, cyan, and stark white, the artwork is illuminated by raised gold accents and tactile pops of ruby red, emerald, and pink. Perfect for contemporary living rooms, creative offices, or modern gallery walls, this statement canvas offers endless discovery through its complex layers, meticulous symmetry, and rich texture.
